eCommerce Attribution Report
We are thrilled to announce the launch of a critical new feature in the Tire Tutor Marketing suite (https://dealers.tiretutor.com/marketing/analytics), the E-commerce Attribution Report!
For years, tire shops have struggled to connect online activity—leads, quotes, and web traffic—directly to revenue generated in the bay. This new report solves that problem by providing transparent, measurable proof of your website's performance and its impact on your bottom line.
Understanding the E-commerce Attribution Report
The E-commerce Attribution Report is located within the Marketing Tab of your main menu, alongside your Dealer Value and phone call data reports. It serves as your central hub for tracking exactly which online leads successfully convert into completed work orders.
What You See
The report provides a definitive list of all online leads that have successfully turned into work orders, along with powerful metrics to assess the overall performance of your digital strategy.
-
Conversion Metrics: At the top, you'll see a clear breakdown of:
-
The total number of your work orders that originated from e-commerce activity.
-
The total dollars generated within your POS system directly from that online activity.
-
A percentage showing what proportion of your total closed work orders are derived from online sources (e.g., "38% of all work orders are from online activity").
-
Advanced Filtering Capabilities
To analyze the data that matters most to you, the report offers several filtering options:
-
Date Range: Look at performance over the last week, month, or any custom period.
-
Work Order Number or Customer Name: Search for specific transactions or customer journeys.
-
Source Filter (E-commerce vs. All): Filter the list to show only leads that came from your e-commerce channels, or expand it to view all leads regardless of source.
-
Status Toggle (Open vs. Completed): Easily toggle to view only Completed (closed) work orders to focus on final revenue, or view Open work orders to track active pipeline performance.
Why This Report is Essential for Your Shop
The E-commerce Attribution Report is more than just data—it's a tool for driving strategic decisions:
-
Measure Website ROI: Finally, you can definitively gauge the true performance of your website and online marketing efforts. Is your website generating real revenue, or just traffic? This report provides the answer.
-
Improve Lead Follow-Up: By showing which leads did not convert, you can identify gaps in your follow-up process and ensure your staff is effectively converting web inquiries into confirmed appointments.
-
Justify Digital Spending: Use the total revenue generated from online activity to justify and optimize your budget for website development, advertising, and online inventory management.
