How to Connect Synder to QuickBooks

Syncing TireTutor.ai to QuickBooks Online
We recommend using Synder to facilitate the data transfer between TireTutor.ai and Quickbooks. This will require a subscription. We do not have any affiliation with the company or earn any referrals; we have simply found that it offers a robust data transfer option between TireTutor.ai, Square, and QuickBooks.
Step 1:
Go to Synder.com and purchase a subscription. You must purchase the Essentials package or higher in order to set up the integrations.
Step 2:
Ensure that you have your login credentials for Square and QuickBooks handy.
Step 3:
Synder will being walking you through the setup process. Enter information on your role and business details.
Step 4:
The third tab in the set-up process will ask you to select which integrations you would like. Click on Square and then click “Next Step”.
Step 5:
Select QuickBooks Online for your accounting software.
Step 6:
Choose the recommended synchronization (per transaction).
Step 7:
Click “Connect to QuickBooks”.
Step 8:
Enter your login information for QuickBooks.
Step 9:
Click “Connect” when prompted again.
Step 10:
Click “Connect” to connect Square.
Step 11:
Enter your login information for Square.
Step 12:
Follow the steps for two-factor authentication.
Step 13:
If you have multiple rooftops, choose which rooftop you’d like to connect first from the “Choose location” drop down menu.
Step 14:
Select the bank account your platform transfers money to from the drop-down, then click “Next”.
Step 15:
Choose whether you want to import that last two months of data into Synder or simply sync the accounts going forward. You can choose to import the data later, after you have tested the sync.
Step 16:
You’re in!
Step 17:
Check to see if transactions are autosyncing. If they are not, click on settings, and then toggle this on.
Step 18:
Check to see that transactions are syncing into QuickBooks.
Importing Historical Data (Custom Date Range)
If you need to import more than two months of historical data, follow the steps below after completing the initial setup.
Step 1:
Log into your Synder account.
Step 2:
Navigate to Transactions in the left-hand menu.
Step 3:
Click Import historical data.
Step 4:
Select Square as the integration.
Step 5:
Choose custom date range instead of the default two-month option.
Step 6:
Enter your desired start and end dates.
Step 7:
Click Import to Synder. This will pull the transactions from Square into Synder without immediately pushing them to QuickBooks.
Step 8:
Review the imported transactions inside Synder to confirm accuracy.
Step 9:
Click Sync to your books to push the selected transactions into QuickBooks Online.
Step 10:
Log into QuickBooks Online and verify:

Sales entries appear correctly

Deposits match Square payouts

Fees are recorded properly

Accounts are mapped correctly
Important Notes

For large date ranges, consider importing in quarterly batches (Jan–Mar, Apr–Jun, etc.) to improve processing speed and simplify reconciliation.
