We are thrilled to announce a significant enhancement to the Tire Tutor platform designed to improve the online shopping experience for customers with specialized vehicles: Staggered Fitment Support.

For vehicles that require different tire sizes on the front and rear axles—common among high-performance and luxury cars—the process of finding and ordering a complete set online can often be confusing and frustrating. We've eliminated that complexity!

What is Staggered Fitment Support?

This new feature ensures that when a customer searches for tires on your website for a vehicle known to require two different sizes, the process is clear, accurate, and leads directly to a complete, ready-to-purchase set.

How It Works for Your Customers:

  1. Vehicle Input: The customer enters their specific vehicle information into your website's tire finder.

  2. Automatic Detection: If that particular vehicle type requires staggered fitment (i.e., different front and rear sizes), a new prompt will automatically appear.

  3. Front and Rear Selection: The customer will be prompted to confirm the size for the Front and the size for the Rear. They will also need to select a location, if applicable, and click Search.

  4. Viewing the Staggered Set: On the search results page, if a specific tire model has enough inventory in both the required front size and the required rear size to build a complete set of four, a button will appear that reads View Staggered Set.

  5. Adding to Cart: When the customer clicks View Staggered Set, they will see a confirmation screen listing the two different sizes—a set of two for the front and a set of two for the rear—totaling a complete set of four tires. They can then add the entire staggered set directly to their cart and proceed to checkout instantly.
