Tire quote comparison feature

 

We're excited to announce a powerful new tool within the Tire Catalog designed to help your counter staff generate quick, accurate quotes right on the spot: Compare Quote Prices!

When you have a customer on the phone or standing in front of you, time is of the essence. This new feature allows you to instantly compare the total cost of different tire options, including installation and protection plans, all on one simple screen.

How to Use the Compare Quote Prices Feature

The instant comparison tool is activated directly from your tire search results, making the quoting process faster than ever.

1. Select Your Comparison Options

  1. Access the Tire Catalog and search for tires specific to the customer's vehicle.

  2. Review the list of available tires.

  3. Select any number of tire options that you want to quote for the customer by checking the box next to each tire.

2. Generate the Instant Comparison

  1. Now click the new Compare Quote Prices button on the right side of the blue banner above the tire results.

  2. A comparison window will pop up, displaying a side-by-side view of your selected tires.

3. Customize and Quote

Within the comparison window, you have several powerful options to tailor the quote instantly:

  • Before and After Install Pricing: See the base price and the final, installed price for each tire option immediately.

  • Tire Protection Plan Toggle: Easily toggle on the option for a Tire Protection Plan to include it in the quoted price.

    • The protection plan is pre-set to a 15% rate, but you can quickly change this to match your shop's actual percentage rate.

  • Adjust Quantity: Set the required quantity of tires (e.g., 2, 4, or 5) directly within the comparison tool.

4. Seamless Next Steps

Once you've discussed the options with your customer:

  • If you need to restart the comparison, click Clear Selections.

  • If you want to move forward with sending a formal quote, or adding these to a estimate orwork order, simply click outside the comparison window. The selected tires will remain checked. You can then use the existing workflow to Add to Quote/Estimate/Work Order, using the normal buttons as before.
